Global and Russian trends in development

of project financing

The article discusses the nature, characteristics and types of project financing, substanti-

ates the necessity of its state support in times of crisis, reveals the history of its origin,

modern trends in global and domestic development, advantages over other methods of

mobilizing resources for project implementations, investigates the mechanism of the use

of project financing , describes the factors that hinder the implementation of project fi-

nancing in the Russian economy, analyzes the prospects of its development.
