Linguistic and methodological bases of teaching foreign

students to annotating at technical university

Information is one of the social resources of modern society. The article investigates spe-

cific features of annotations as a meta-informative secondary scientific genre. The author

justifies necessity of special work in teaching foreign students annotating. The types of

exercises helping developing the psychological mechanisms of semantic text processing,

training to annotating are offered.
