These are updated archetypes of the collective unconscious, characteristics of temperament and character, cognitive-intellectual features, motivational and emotional features, sensory-perceptual features. Personal qualities and the psyche of a person have the external forms of manifestation, such as person's behavior, speech and activity with its meaningful results. Therefore, the identification of the mentality is based on the study of everyday things created by people, technical devices, literary and scientific texts, paintings, sculptures, icons, films, architectural structures, music and other artifacts. Depending on the subject of mentality, we distinguish between individual and group types; in terms of the sphere of existence there are religious, economic, legal, political, aesthetic, philosophical types of mentality. The study shows the relationship between the different types of mentality
