Post-modernism ideology and its influence on the social sciences language transformation

The article investigates prerequisites for the establishment and fundamental ideas of the post-modernism ideology as well as their influence on the transformation of the social sciencesdiscourse. We analyze philosophical and methodological underpinnings of the cognitive-linguistic direction in contemporary sociology. The representatives of this direction propose to dismiss the notions “group”, “race”, “class”, “nation”, “ethnos”
