The signification of the concepts in research on communication

The article discusses philosophical understanding of the notion of "concept" and the designation of key concepts of communication research. A comparative historical and philosophical interpretation of the notion of "concept" is given. Based on the generalization of the material, a conceptual approach to communication research is considered. The emphasis was placed on the need to include the central concepts of communicative research in the discourse on communication in order to optimize the process of studying communication.
