The use of video in foreign language teaching

The article deals with the use of video in foreign language teaching. The value of video in foreign language teaching is described. Special attention is paid to the development of a system of exercises. The advantages of the system over traditional approach are discussed. An example of tasks and exercises based on the video is shown. The following exercises can be used for a class-room activity and autonomous learning.
