The study of moral preferences of engineering students

The main purpose of the article is to analyze the systems of engineer's moral values and to describe the results of this research from theoretical and empirical viewpoints. The important idea of the empirical research is that it is conducted on a sample population -the students majoring in engineering. The author analyzes what systems of moral values the students consider important for an engineer: a conventional morality, ethical pluralism, moral absolutism, utilitarianism, hedonism, moral pluralism and how they explain their choice.
