The authors give examples of the practical implementation of these technologies in Ancient Russia, the Moscow Kingdom, the Russian Empire, the USSR and the Russian Federation. The definition of the concept of “management technologies” is given, their structural components are shown. The differences between various types of management technologies are demonstrated. The thesis is substantiated, according to which management technologies in Russia are neutral in themselves. The use of technologies is determined by social practice and its tasks, the effectiveness of solving the latter in these ways.
