The paper focuses on the possibility of using event analysis in regional management. Event analysis is characterized as a tool that helps to plan innovations in the region. Sources of information for such analysis can be electronic survey systems aimed at identifying the opinion of the population about the development of the region. A methodology for the study of event data published in these systems is introduced, using the example of the Moscow project “Active Citizen”.
