The article considers the possibility of using well-known DIKW diagrams for computer-informational models of consciousness. The difficulty of formalizing thinking and consciousness on the basis of formal logic is shown. The DIKW diagram in the form of a sequence of blocks D, I, K, W is analyzed. The advantage of the pyramidal model due to the introduction of the level of understanding is presented. It is argued that the capabilities of pyramid diagrams can be broader than those of sequential DIKW diagrams for information and computer modeling consciousness and thinking.
