Humanitarian assessment as a subject of a classroom discussion

The article describes the content of the discussion on the humanitarian assessment of homework conducted among the 3rd-year students of the Department of Information Analytics and Political Technologies, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, studying the discipline “Fundamentals of social and humanitarian expertise”. The classification of the assessment of homework according to the content, form and subject of the assessment is performed. The difference between the concepts of “expert” and “assessor” is specified. The functions and tasks of the expert-assessor of the homework in the person of the supervisor are outlined. The students’ understanding of the humanitarian assessment is shown as well as their attitude to homework as a type of research activity. The discussion on the given topic showed that homework is an important part of the students’ socialization process.
