Freedom as a universal of culture in an information society

The paper explores various interpretations of freedom as universals of culture in the realities of the information society, proposed in modern legal and ethical concepts. Freedom is considered as a universal of culture and as a category of legal culture within the framework of legal anthropology, the communicative theory of law, information law, and legal ethics. Findings of research show that freedom as a universal of culture and a category of legal culture has the openly evolving nature
