The article is dedicated to postmodernist philosophy, including its roots, the main concepts (such as deconstruction, simulacre, metanarrative, differance, schizoanalysis, gypertext, intertextuality, the death of the author, nomadism, rhizome) and its essential connections with modern information technologies. Also the problem of possible future of postmodernism, including its specific situation in Russia, is discussed.
