The ethics of messengers: issues of epistolary communication within the framework of development of information technologies

The paper analyses the range of ethical problems generated by the development of information technologies of messengers (the exchange of text messages). The aim of the study is to highlight the positive aspects of communication in instant messengers, to analyze both positive aspects and negative consequences and to find possible prospects of solving the problems. The theoretical basis of the article includes the results of research undertaken by linguists, as well as the materials of researchers of business ethics and social consequences of communication in the context of information technologies
