The ideals and norms of scientific cognition and their methodological function

Based on the history of natural science and mathematics we reveal the methodological function of the scientific cognition ideals and norms as one of the meaningful regulators for the scientific cognition dynamics and for estimating its results. The study rationally reconstructs the ideals and norms of classical and non-classical science and shows their essential difference.
