Analysis of the factors of increasing Russia’s competitiveness on the international market

The article considers the concept and describes the methodology for assessing competitiveness of a state. A comparative analysis of two approaches to the calculation of indices of competitiveness of countries has been carried out. Our investigation of the dynamics of countries' competitiveness was based on statistical information. We revealed the performance factors that had a significant impact on the competitive position of Russia in the global ranking of countries.
