Efficiency criteria and indexes in space industry rely on its cost effectiveness evaluated as the net results the sectors of the industry yield assessed against budgetary funds and bankroll used to support them. The approach used to estimate the "multiplicative effect" that the space industry arguably spins off indeed requires thorough investigation to be appropriately applied to such specific industries and indicators of efficiency of their activity. Issues related to the approach used to evaluate economical efficiency of "autonomous investment" considered to be an alternative way to support the space industry instead of budgetary funding are also becoming controversial.
